Sure Lock Escapes’ current puzzles are balanced around adults in terms of difficulty. We’ve found that adventurers who are around 12 years-old or older are able to participate in the majority of the challenges in the rooms. The minimum age permitted in our rooms is 8. All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Bookings must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance in order to be fully refunded. Bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours of notice will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. 

If you need to reschedule your escape room experience, please contact us at least 48 hours before the existing booking’s scheduled start time, and we will reschedule your appointment to any open future timeslot. We do not guarantee that we can accommodate requests to reschedule with less than 48 hours of notice.  

We charge a 5% service fee on every booking and pay 100% of that service fee to the game master handling that booking. We use this fee to ensure our game masters are well compensated without the need for tips to make ends meet. 

Exceptional service is expected, enjoy your experience here with no pressure. 

Please make sure to arrive promptly on time for your adventure! It’s important that we get you in and started on time to stay on schedule for groups who may coming in after you. If you arrive 15 minutes or more after your selected start time, we may need to reduce your time in the experience to stay on schedule. If you arrive more than 30 minutes after your scheduled start time, we may need to cancel your booking entirely, refunds are not available in this situation.

Each participant will need to sign a waiver prior to starting an escape room experience. Guests under age 18 will need signed waivers from a legal guardian, even if that guardian is not attending. Please note that everyone who enters the escape room experience will need to pay admission.

Bathrooms are available on site before and during your adventure.

Your game master will then get you started on your adventure, and will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Escape rooms are immersive puzzle experiences, and Sure Lock Escapes’ experiences all require teamwork to complete.

You will never be actually locked inside any escape room. You may leave the room at any time; however, the clock will not stop if you leave the room.

During the experience, you will have the ability to contact the game master, who will be watching your progress and ready to help if needed.

Though you will be allowed to bring your phones into the room with you, we ask that you step out to take calls. You may use your phone’s flashlight and you may take pictures during your experience if you want!

Your experience ends when you have either solved your way out of the experience or when the timer runs out!

Most Sure Lock Escapes experiences are wheelchair accessible; however, there are individual puzzles within each escape room that may not be within reach or within sight of a wheelchair. The floor in parts of the Guardians’ Grove room is compacted bark. Spell Struck requires climbing stairs and crawling through and opening. The 13th Floor is a full motion room, meaning the floor moves and tilts significantly. 

Most puzzles will be accessible and solvable to those with hearing impairments. However, there are individual puzzles within each escape room that require the use of sound clues.

The majority of our experiences use scents, either as part of a puzzle or part of the immersive atmosphere.

All bookings are private, which means it will just be your group participating in your reserved escape room experience.
